OvarCare is our financial, psycho-social, and informational support program for ovarian cancer patients and our OVARCOMERS in active treatment.
At Ovarcome, we are inspired by the simple philosophy of support, love, and celebration of life. Our OvarCare Grants Program is designed to provide meaningful assistance to our Ovarcomers and their families, when they need it the most. The goal of the OvarCare program is to offer holistic support to ovarian cancer patients.
What does OvarCare offer?
- Financial grant of $200
- Psycho-Social Counseling sessions via phone by a licensed clinical social worker
- Genetic Counseling sessions via phone by a licensed Genetic Counselor (New addition to the program)
- $100 Gas card
- $100 grocery card
Who is it for? It is for ovarian cancer patients who:
- Have a diagnosis of ovarian cancer certified by an oncology healthcare provider
- Are in active treatment, and not in Hospice Care.
- Are a newly diagnosed or existing ovarian cancer patient
- Meet our financial eligibility guidelines and can provide income verification documentation
How can eligible patients apply?
The application process has been designed in partnership with our partner hospitals.

Have you previously applied for our OvarCare Grant?
Please submit completed application forms including all required documentation. OvarCare is a one-time assistance program for all eligible ovarian cancer patients. Please allow 3-4 weeks for us to review your application from the date of submission. Due to the large volume of applications received, we are unable to provide status updates on each individual inquiry. All applications are processed in the order they are received.
Please review carefully for required documentation and send in applications completed in entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered. We encourage your physician/nurse/social worker to send the applications to us. Applications are processed in the order they are received and grant giving depends on availability of funding at any given time.

You Can Support the OvarCare Program:
The high expense of ovarian cancer care may take physical and emotional toll on our Ovarcomers and their families. You can help an Ovarcomer in need by contributing towards the OvarCare program. We welcome you to make the donation in memory of, or in honor of someone you love. Your gift to sponsor one OvarCare package is $500. You can choose to sponsor one or as many Ovarcomers as you would like to support. You can also choose to co-sponsor with friends.
