Musician & America’s Got Talent Star Caly Bevier To Be Honored At Ovarcome’s 2018 Annual Gala
It’s time to bring out your masks and magic for Ovarcome’s annual gala UnMasque: The Teal Reveal! Join us Saturday, May 19, 2018, at St. Regis, Houston, in honor and celebration of ovarian cancer survivors.
Ovarcome is proud to be presenting young ovarian cancer survivor and musician, Caly Bevier, with the 2018 Ovarcome Excellence Award. Caly said, “As a young ovarian cancer survivor, I am so excited to be nominated for Ovarcome’s 2018 Excellence Award. I look forward to performing at their Annual Gala in honor and celebration of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Together, we can Ovarcome!”

We look forward to our continued partnership in the crusade against ovarian cancer in years to come,” President, founder and CEO of Ovarcome, Runsi Sen said.Sen has a personal connection to the cause as well. She founded Ovarcome in honor of her mother who passed away from the disease.
Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of all gynecologic cancer with approximately 70 percent of women presenting with extensive disease at the time of diagnosis. Ovarcome’s mission is to raise global awareness, to fund research in search of a cure and to provide financial assistance to under-served ovarian cancer patients in need.
UnMasque: The Teal Reveal will be an evening filled with hope, joy, camaraderie, and celebrations with fabulous food, fun, entertainment and heartwarming stories from survivors and supporters.
In addition to the Ovarcome Excellence Awards, four Survivors: Diana Ploch, Cheryl Esco, Liz Camacho and Kathy Miller, will be recognized with the Shining Survivors Award for their commitment to the ovarian cancer community, and their steadfast support to Ovarcome.
Three Physicians: Dr. David Gershenson of MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Dineo Khabele of University of Kansas Cancer Center, and Dr. Jospech Lucci of Memorial Hermann/UT Health Systems will also be recognized with the Ovarcome Heroes Award for their remarkable contributions to the ovarian cancer community and for their championship of Ovarcome.
