Meet, Memarie. Memarie is a singer/songwriter inspired by music, faith, and philanthropy. Memarie is also an ovarian cancer survivor, who strongly believes in being vocal about this silent disease, and in helping other women and families learn more about ovarian cancer, and stay on top of symptoms. Memarie wants to Talk About Ovarian Cancer: to break the silence and help save a life!

Memarie was busy with her career as a recording artist and was traveling the country for her stage shows, when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The diagnosis and subsequent treatment slowed her down – she had to scale back on her passion for music, to focus on her health and treatment.

Always a strong believer of natural therapy, Memarie was initially hesitant to undergo the rigorous treatment that comes with ovarian cancer diagnosis – surgery, chemotherapy, and the side-effects associated with it. However, when she discussed her concerns with her Doctor, her physician strongly encouraged her to pursue treatment to reduce the burden of her disease, to enhance her quality of life, and to give her a chance for longer survival. Faced with the dilemma of her physician’s perspective and her own belief in natural therapy, Memarie says she resorted to her faith, to show her the path and to guide her through the decision. Few days later, she had her surgery followed by chemotherapy.

Now two years cancer-free, Memarie has found a new passion for creating. Today her jewelry line, Fearless Memories designs are worn and sought out by many other musicians and creatives. With a free spirit, bohemian vibe to the designs, Memarie enjoys working with raw gemstones, leather, feathers, Mixed metals and one of a kind vintage findings. Every special Fearless Memories item is a one of a kind, ensuring her buyers have a piece that is uniquely their own. Memarie has dedicated 50% of the proceeds of all Fearless Memories sales this month in September to Ovarcome, in honor of ovarian cancer survivors that Ovarcome assists.

Memarie understands the power that Faith plays during overwhelming seasons of life. She has been through many challenges in her life – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Now, she is ready to start a brand new chapter – a beautiful beginning of hope, and a fresh perspective of life. Memarie is passionate about bringing this message of hope to other women. through her work as a jewelry designer, and in being an advocate for women with ovarian cancer. To BE the VOICE, and work together with the ovarian cancer community of survivors.
