Keep Ovarcoming!
OVARCOMING is long and deliberate journey of intentions and experiences. We are here to hold your hand in friendship and walk the path with you. It gets easier, it gets better, when we walk TOGETHER. When we OVARCOME TOGETHER. –
After the period of initial diagnosis and rigors of treatment, comes the period of Survivorship. There is compelling evidence on the positive impact of stress management, diet, exercise, healthy sleep habits, social support and mindfulness on cancer progression or recurrence. We need to talk about it and integrate these complementary therapies in overall cancer management.
Only a fraction of patients is proactively offered complementary therapies and services, and most patients need to seek them out themselves. Extensive data suggests, many cancer patients continue to have cancer promoting diet through their treatment and beyond, do not exercise, and experience sleep disturbances.
Let’s take a step forward TOGETHER – to improve and enhance quality of life.
