Runsi Sen

Runsi Sen is the Founder, President, and CEO of Ovarcome. She founded Ovarcome in memory of her mother, transforming personal loss into a mission of greater global impact.

Grounded in experiences in life across multiple countries, cultures, and languages, Runsi Sen brings a distinctly global perspective. Her worldview shapes how she understands access, equity, and systems of care. This perspective strengthens her ability to connect across communities and advocate for change that transcends borders.

Runsi holds an MBA in Strategy & Marketing from Rice University and a master’s degree in economics, bringing strategic insight and leadership to nonprofit advocacy. Under her leadership, Ovarcome has grown into an internationally recognized platform that bridges clinical care, advocacy, and community outreach.

As a patient advocate, Runsi has shared her voice at major health and research conferences, and national and global forums in representing the patient and caregiver perspective in scientific and clinical settings. She is also a two-time TEDx speaker, and her work has been recognized with awards including the:

Via OvarCare Counseling we are pleased to offer: Up to 6 sessions of support for up to 6 months Meetings by phone in any location in the U.S. Supportive services to OvarCare grant recipients Information, resources, referrals as needed and requested Our OvarCare counseling sessions are designed to provide support through the journey of Ovarcoming Ovarian Cancer and are not deemed to be psychotherapy services. Our members are ready to provide compassionate and meaningful support via active listening, providing gentle guidance in navigating the often-challenging course of diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, and in providing effective tools and resources to Ovarcome.
